Dear AMC Fan Club Members,
Unfortunately, due to some scheduling issues, we have learned at
(almost literally) the last minute that the Airtel Plaza will be
unable to accommodate the AMC Fan Club Weekend this year. Trust me, I
do fully realize the inconvenience this poses to those of you who have
booked a room at the Airtel Plaza in anticipation of being on site for
the event. Finding a suitable venue at the last minute has created a
hectic 24 hours, however, we have been able to secure a beautiful
location for the event that is within a very short distance of the
Airtel.
If you have hotel accommodations set up with the Airtel and are
able to secure transportation to the new venue, I urge you to keep the
reservation. The Airtel is a beautiful hotel with a tremendously
gracious staff and you will NOT be disappointed if you choose to stay
there. To make up for the inconvenience, the Airtel is offering an
even further reduced price on rooms for AMC Fan Club Weekend attendees
who choose to keep their existing reservations. If you have not yet
talked to Vivian about this, please phone her at 818-263-8372 so that
your reservation can be modified to reflect the reduced price.
If you do not have transportation or otherwise wish to stay
specifically at the venue, I will do my best to help you secure a
room.
I deeply apologize for this sudden change of location for the
event, however, it could not be avoided. I assure you that the new
location is perfectly suited for events such as this one and will
provide an excellent setting for our AMC Fan Club Weekend.
